Happy New Year -2013

Good evening!! Tonight I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!! I hope it's off to a great start!! It's always busy around here during the holidays and then with everyone off school I took a break from posting!!

Here is the card I created for Thank You cards for Christmas gifts this year.  My inspiration and casing came from a card I found on Pinterest (HERE).

Baby It's Cold Outside

Good Evening!! I am here with my second post for the night to share a card I made for the Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Challenge 157:  Baby It's Cold Outside.  I was so excited to ink up my new stamp as soon as I received them!! Here is what I created:

Christmas Princess

Good Monday morning!! Today I would like to share with you a card I made for the Tiddly Inks Challenge #99:  Make it like Marlena.  Here was our photo inspiration:




I decided to go with the card design as I had the totally adorable Christmas Princess image and after making 45 Christmas cards, can you believe I was 1 short?! So I decided to make one more Christmas card.  Isn't she beautiful?  She is one of my favorite images!

Our Girl Diamond

Happy Thanksgiving!! I would like to share with you a scrapbook layout I made for the Sketches in Thyme #93 Challenge. 

A week ago we lost our family dog we had for 10 years.  She was my inspiration for this scrapbook sketch.   I have yet to print the pictures for the scrapbook page as it's still sad looking at them.  But in time they will be added to this page!!

Thanks So Much

Happy Tuesday morning to you!! It's Thanksgiving week here in the States and the holidays are in full swing.  It's amazing how fast this fall season is going.  I think it gets shorter and shorter each year -- or maybe it's just that I am getting older; hehehe.

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for the Peachy Keen Challenge 44: A Color Challenge.  I love love love fall and these colors are totally amazing together!!  Here is the color combo and what I created:

I pulled my favorite colors from the color palette; brown, orange, and purple.

Dudley's Thank You

Good morning!! I would like to share a card I made with you today for the Dustin Pike - Pike's Playground Challenge.  The challenge:  create a Thank You card.  I had to use the pre-colored fun-loving Dudley, one of Dustin's signature images!! Here is what I created:

We Are Thankful

Good morning!! I am here today to share with you my scrapbook pages I created for the Sketches in Thyme #92 challenge as well as the Peachy Keen #43: Anything Goes challenge.   Since the holidays are upon us I created a Thanksgiving themed layout.  Here is the sketch for Sketches in Thyme for this week:
 
  Here is what I created for the two challenges:
 
Here are close ups of the layout.  The swirl was cut from my Cricut Storybook cartridge and then I embellished it with red, gold, and green bling.  The title is cut from the Tear Drop cartridge.  I inked all of the edges of my paper using Close to Cocoa, Tim Holtz Iced Spruce, and Summer Sun.  My pilgrims are cut from my Paper Doll Cricut cartridge.

Hello

Good evening!! Nothing like waiting until the last minute to enter a challenge.  I actually got my card finished last night but didn't get the pictures uploaded until this evening.  I am really hoping for a new camera for Christmas.  :)

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for the Tiddlyinks Challenge "Make it like Lou".  The challenge was to create using Lou as inspiration.  You could use the card elements, colors, theme, etc..it just had to be like hers.  Here is the photo for the challenge:
